MOCZA - MUSEUM OF COMPARATIVE ZOOLOGY AUSTRALIA
At present we are a web based museum with
temporary displays, hire available and an online store coming soon.
Our long-term goal is to establish a museum which will be not-for-profit, with permanent displays in a purpose built/existing building, with informative displays focused on youth and education.
Employment preference will be for the disabled and elderly, focusing on experience and interest.
Our design will be reflected by choosing old school museum styles rather then the modern (technology, animations and video/computers).
We have over 100 years of combined experience in collecting, taxidermy, osteology, molding, casting, museum displays and collection management.
MOCZA has access to three major private collections of animal skulls, skeletons, reproductions and mounts.
Numbering approximately 7000 quality specimens and constantly growing, having close affiliation with zoo’s and wildlife parks.
